The Mi-Ki (pronounced Me-Key) are a rare toy dog.  They share ancestors with Maltese, Papillion, and Japanese Chin.  They are of Asian ancestry, originating in the United States in the 1980's.  Their average size is 5 to 8 lbs.  They live well into their teens.  Mi-Ki's have no known health problems.

With having companion dogs in their background, the Mi-Ki's are sweet, gentle, calm, outgoing and social.  They are extremely loving to people, as well as other animals.  Their high intelligence level makes them easy to train, whether potty training, obedience training, or even agility training.  They are often used as therapy dogs.  Linda takes our dogs as hospice volunteers, visiting patients.

The Mi-Ki is the PERFECT breed!
